All About Prize Bond Result, List, Draw & Schedule

In USA and UK, they call it a lottery and in Pakistan they call it Prize Bond. In a proverbial world, a Prize Bond is the only thing equal to a Jackpot.

In this article, I will explain what a Prize Bond is, how you can claim a reward on a prize bond, why converting your currency notes into Prize Bonds is the best saving that you can do and I will also answer all the important questions about prize bond.

What is a Prize Bond?

A lot of people confuse a prize bond with lottery; while a prize bond can make you rich just like lottery makes some people rich in USA and elsewhere in the world, but it is not the same as a lottery ticket.

A Prize Bond is a lottery bond that you buy by paying the amount equal to that bond. For example, if you want to buy a 750 worth prize bond, you will pay the same amount and in return you will get a bond – a non-interest bond bearing security issued by the Government of Pakistan.

Prize bonds are issued and regulated under the National Savings Organization of Pakistan. The money that you pay for a prize bond goes to the same organization. The Ministry of Finance regulates this organization and the prize bonds issued by it.

Lottery Ticket vs. Prize Bond

Well, as you have already read, a prize bond is also a lottery bond, but it does not make it something the same as a lottery ticket. In the case of a lottery, you pay a small price for the ticket and the ticket itself cannot be converted into the money for which it was bought.

If you win a lottery, it’s a jackpot, but if you don’t you do not get your money back by returning the ticket. This is what makes a prize bond different from the lottery ticket because in case you never win a prize on a particular bond, you can always return that for the value of the money you spent to acquire the very bond.
